Are you using Facebook to generate leads online? One of the biggest problems most network marketers have is generating leads. Let’s face it! We all have to find our own way of generating leads. That’s why so many marketers are constantly looking for lead generation ideas.
Using Facebook To Generate Leads Online
Eventually, we find those that work for us and we start getting leads. We can then proceed to build relationships that will eventually lead to a look at a presentation of our product, service or opportunity. Once this presentation is made, we can then pick up where our upline would get involved, i.e. the three way call or invitation to a business briefing.
If you’re trying to generate leads using social media, specifically Facebook, there are methods on how to do that. I am using Facebook to generate leads online and here are some ways that have worked for me.
Using Facebook Graph Search To Generate Leads
Facebook graph search is a way to get targeted leads for your product/service or opportunity. When doing the search, you want to use a set of criteria that will yield the best results. For example, people who like/live, women who like/live or men who like/live. Let’s say you want to get a list of people who like top earner, Ray Higdon and live in California.
Use Graph Search To Search For People
Here’s the process: You can do a search for people who like Ray Higdon by typing his name in the Facebook field. What will come up will be a list of people who like Ray Higdon and as you scroll down the page, you’ll notice that some of the results may include people you are already friends with. (If you add “and are not my friends”, the search results will not include your friends) The others are the leads you may want to focus on. And so begins the search!
You can do this for people who live in a particular geographic area as well. For example, people who like network marketing and live in Smallville.
You can look at the profiles of people, paying attention to those who resonate with you and start to build relationships. How? See what they’re into and up to. Go over some of their posts. Comment on them and like some as well. Go into their photos to get a look at their lifestyle, things they’ve done, places they’ve been. Afterwards, you can follow them. People get notifications when they are being followed as well as comments, likes and shares on their page and of course, that creates curiosity in them to now check you out.
Personally, I like to send a private message, introducing myself and maybe commenting on their profile. Maybe there’s something you both have in common and that’s a great conversation starter! From there, you can move forward into building a real friendship. You can have actual conversations about what they do, family, where they live, what they do for entertainment, etc. More times than not, they will send you a friend request.
Use Graph Search To Search For Companies
You can do the same thing with a company. For example, in the Facebook field, women who like XYZ Beauty Products. Same process as above. Your initial results will also yield pages of people or women who like XYZ Beauty Products. You can go onto those pages and look at some of the comments and reply to them. Get involved in some of the conversation. This is how to engage. Additionally, your results will yield groups and within the groups listed, you can easily find more targeted leads. More on that in a minute!
Use Graph Search to Find Fan Pages Of Industry Leaders
Another way of using Facebook to generate leads is to go onto the pages of industry leaders like Eric Worre, Tony Robbins or Ray Higdon, to name a few. There are thousands of network marketers who follow these leaders and you can utilize these pages to successfully find leads.
Remember that the most important part of this process is the engagement. Engagement is the beginnings of the building of a friendship. It allows people to get to know a little about you and what kind of person you are.
Facebook Groups Have Potential Leads
We also know that there is little to no engagement in these groups as well. But what a perfect place to find leads! And I know what you’re thinking. Who wants to spend time in spam city looking for leads?
The reality is that there are a lot of people in these groups who are clueless to what real marketing is and may be looking for a helping hand in marketing their product/service or may even be looking for an opportunity.
You can search Facebook groups for targeted leads by simply go to the member area of a group, click on the word members and the names of all the members of the group will appear. You might be surprised how many people might be looking for a person like you who has what they need!
In this industry where everyone is looking for network marketing leads, these are some effective ways of using Facebook to generate leads online.
