Attraction marketing! When I joined my MLM a while back, I thought it would be easy to share my service with everyone I knew. I actually went around town passing out my business cards. I made calls and sent out emails. I attended networking events and participated in vending events, as well. I promoted my fledgling business on Facebook, Google+, Linked In, Twitter and Pinterest. I had several home parties, not very serious people, showed up. I posted flyers in the neighborhood and when nothing happened, I knew it was time for another strategy.
Attraction Marketing And Being Of Service
Quitting was NOT the strategy because I believed in my company and my business and I was determined to succeed. So after looking around the internet and doing some research, I discovered attraction marketing. Attraction marketing opened a whole new world where there is so much more going on than the typical network marketer knows.
How To Be of Service To Other Network Marketers
I quickly learned that to be successful in network marketing, people have to know, like and trust you. Why? Because people will only buy from you if they know you, like you and trust you. This is a principle of attraction marketing. I wasn’t really sure how to get people who didn’t know me to like and trust me. Sounded kind of…well, hard to do. But I soon learned more about attraction marketing and what it means to network marketers looking to push their businesses to the next level.
There are so many people out there struggling with their businesses. They need answers, they need solutions, they need help and support. You can be the one to provide all of what they need. You can share what you learned from a webinar, a company event, a video, CD, a book, blog, article, the list goes on. You have to provide value on a regular basis. One thing I can say is that you definitely will have to come out of your comfort zone. That was my first big plunge! Thinking back…I survived!
Coming Out Of My Comfort Zone With Blogging
I started my exit from the comfort zone by blogging, and although I’m a writer, it was a little scary to write about something in this niche and then publish for all the world to see. My confidence level was not high. I thought about it for a long while wondering what I would blog about, do I know enough, will people like what I write and find it useful, will they share it….question after question until…I finally decided to take another plunge.
No one asked me to be perfect, just get content out there into the marketplace and share what I know. Some people may not relate to the message but there will be others that will and become attracted to me. That’s how attraction marketing works! I’ve been blogging ever since! Okay, so far, so good! It’s not too bad out here on the outside of the comfort zone!Never stop serving your customers. They'll love you for it. Click To Tweet
Making My First Video
So many people are making videos to get their message out there but their very first video, as they willingly admit, is scary, awkward and uncomfortable. There’s that comfort zone “thing” again! Well, a video is just another way to get content out into the marketplace. But the same question comes up…what would I say in a video? And the answer is the same.
You can share anything you learned, comment on a inspirational/motivational quote, give tips or tricks, how to’s, the list goes on. The thing to remember is that there are people out there who need what you have – they need your answers, your solutions, your inspiration and your help. You just have to give it to them. Make sure, though, that you are providing this wonderful information to your targeted niche. Attraction marketing gets you noticed, gets you “attractive” and gets you prospects.
In my quest for leading with value, I took yet another plunge. I joined the ranks of all those network marketers who stepped it up and made a video and are still making videos, flooding the marketplace with their content. I made my first video and it WAS scary, awkward and uncomfortable. The lighting wasn’t the greatest and I filmed it in my bedroom. 🙂 But I knew that the more I did videos, the better I would get at it. The main thing is getting good, quality content out there! This comfort zone thing is totally overrated. It’s more fun on the outside. You get to do more fun and interesting things. Yeah, I like it out here!If you’re in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out, Remember all winners were once filled with doubt. Click To Tweet
Share What You Know
My message to you is this. If you are serious about your business and you want to get leads, employ the network marketing tips I spoke about. Learn about attraction marketing then let that be your marketing strategy. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll become an authority in the network marketing arena. You’ll be inspired by how many people will be reaching out to you for answers and solutions. This is the way you build yourself up as a person of value. This is something you MUST do to stay in the running.
So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to do or wanting to try but you’ve been nervous or uncomfortable, my advice – TAKE THE PLUNGE! You’ll be glad you did.
